Hi, I’m Mika! I’m a proud Haitian-American with a passion for comfort food and Caribbean cuisine. Born and raised in Haiti, I cherish the opportunity to share my favorite traditional Haitian recipes and cooking tips with others.

My grandmothers, mother, and aunts taught me how to cook authentic Haitian food, and I now pass on that knowledge to my own daughters, keeping our culinary heritage alive.

Currently, I live in the beautiful state of North Carolina with my wonderful family. When we’re not tending to our thriving backyard gardens, you can often find us out on the trails, enjoying a scenic hike every weekend. Connecting with nature is something we truly value.
